SATURDAY the 25th- Quakertown, PA Ceili Rain FULL BAND St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church of Applebachsville presents the Joyful Noise IV music festival on June 25, 2011. The event begins at 10AM and features a wide variety of music from local and regional talent (6 artists in all), culminating in a performance by Ceili Rain at 4:45pm. The event is free (bring non-perishable food items as “admission”), but food and raffle sales, “passing the bucket”, etc will raise money for the Quakertown Food Pantry. In 2008, the Pantry served about 13,000 individuals in the Quakertown area, including 4300 children. Joyful Noise II, held in 2007, raised over $8300 for the Pantry–their largest donation ever. In 2009, while we had torrential rains ALL day long, we triumphantly forged ahead with our event and were able to bestow $5,300 to the Quakertown Food Pantry once again. In addition to the music and food, there will be a classic car show, crafts and artwork by local artisans, church tours, children’s activities and more.
